I led a hybrid workshop about why and how investors can integrate AI ethics into investment strategies at the Center for the Philosophy of Science, Pittsburgh University
The structure of the workshop was as follows:
➤ A 20-minute talk, covering:
-- What AI is and what AI ethics is
-- How AI ethics can impact companies’ financial performance
-- How I think investors should evaluate ethical dimensions of companies that develop AI systems.
➤ The rest of the time was dedicated to structured discussion:
The goals of the discussion were to facilitate conversations about these issues, hear the participants’ opinions, and brainstorm collectively.
