About me
Currently, I am a PhD candidate at the UC Berkeley philosophy department.
Before that, I earned an MA in philosophy from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Before that, I earned a BSc in physics and chemistry from the Hebrew University.
I am sometimes asked how I pronounce my name. The phonetic spelling is “rah-veet doh-than”. The German pronunciation comes close, you can hear what it sounds like by clicking the “listen” icon in the "German" tab here.
About my work
I mainly work in epistemology, philosophy of science, and philosophy of machine learning.
I have additional interests in feminist philosophy and philosophy of religion.
My main research program is about the concept of evidence. I develop a view in which what is evidence for what is constituted through social deliberation.
